Win a signed copy of Charlie Higson's The Gates of Death in our World Book Day Fighting Fantasy competition!

Five weeks today, Charlie Higson's brand new Fighting Fantasy gamebook, The Gates of Death, will be unleashed upon the world, and you could become the proud owner of a signed copy, dedicated especially to you, courtesy of Scholastic Books!

In the adventure, YOU are a humble acolyte from the Crucible Isles, responding to a call for help from the people of Allansia. A terrible demon plague is ravaging the land, turning people and animals into terrifying monsters, and YOU are the only one who can stop it! YOU must find your way to the Temple of Throff, within the Invisible City, and there face the monstrous Ulrakaah, Queen of Darkness and Mother of Demons, beyond the Gates of Death.

To be in with a chance of winning a signed copy of The Gates of Death, including a personalised handwritten dedication from Charlie Higson himself, all you have to do is draw a picture of what you think Ulrakaah, Queen of Darkness and Mother of Demons, looks like.

You can use whatever media you like, but your final picture must be sent in the form of a .jpeg, as an email attachment, to mail@fightingfantasy.com. The closing date for the competition is Saturday 31st March 2018*; any entries submitted after that date will not be considered. The winner will be announced after The Gates of Death is published in April.

Three runners-up will receive a Steam key to download a free copy of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, courtesy of Tin Man Games, while the winner will become the proud owner of the signed copy of The Gates of Death, plus a Steam key for The Warlock of Firetop Mountain.

So don't delay - get drawing today! And may your STAMINA never fail!
